Start your journey by purchasing a Thermal Fusion Transfer either from the Dooney and Daughters' website or by visiting their physical store at 122 Upland Road , Remuera, Auckland.
This convenient option allows you to start your creative project in the way that works best for you.
Once Dooney and Daughters have gathered all the necessary information, they will collaborate with our design team at White Cloud Transfers. Our designers will work diligently to craft a design that aligns with your vision, ensuring every detail is perfect.
You'll need to provide details such as:
Design Concept: Describe your vision, including themes, elements, or specific images you'd like to incorporate.
Image Uploads: If you have specific images, ensure they are high-resolution (300 DPI) with a transparent background. Confirm you have the necessary copyright permissions for any images you supply.
Colour Preferences: If you have a preferred colour palette or any specific colours you wish to include.
Size Specifications: With our Thermal Fusion Transfers, you'll enjoy a generous size of 56 cm in width and 1 meter in length. Keep in mind that we require a 2 cm margin around this area to remain free of any images
Please note that White Cloud Transfers reserves the right to decline the design of any images that conflict with White Cloud products.
We understand the significance of perfecting your design, which is why we provide two complimentary revisions during the mock-up stage. This allows you to review the design and request any adjustments needed to align with your expectations before moving forward with production. Should you need more than two revisions, a fee may apply for each additional revision.
Once your design is finalised, your custom Thermal Fusion Transfer will be produced with care and precision. You'll receive a high-quality transfer, ready to be applied to your chosen surface for a stunning and vibrant finish. Our turnaround time at White Cloud Transfers is 3-5 business days, following your confirmation of satisfaction with the design. We will then send it to Dooney and Daughters for pickup, or they will coordinate to have it couriered to you.
DPI (dots per inch) refers to the resolution of an image when printed. While phone cameras don’t directly allow you to set DPI, you can adjust the quality of the image by considering the pixel dimensions and editing techniques.
Steps to Achieve 300 DPI Quality
Use a High-Resolution Camera Setting: Ensure your phone camera is set to its highest resolution setting before taking the photo. This maximises the number of pixels and detail captured in the image.
Maintain Good Lighting: Use natural lighting or a well-lit area to avoid shadows and enhance the clarity of the artwork in the photo
Keep the Camera Steady Use a tripod or rest the phone on a stable surface to prevent blurriness caused by hand movement.
You can upload your photo to a free DPI converter, such as https://image.pi7.org/dpi-checker. This tool will check the image's DPI and convert it to 300 DPI for you.
